Universal Orlando gets ready to kick off their annual Mardi Gras celebration featuring headliner concerts on February 4. It will run daily through March 25, 2017.
Enjoy Cajun cuisine and drinks, music, and a parade through the park with floats of bead throwers. During this time period, Universal Studios Florida brings the Mardi Gras celebration to Orlando.
Music industry heavyweights such as Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, Juanes, P!nk, Mary J. Blige, Selena Gomez, and Britney Spears are among 24 artists featured on “Hands,” a new single that has been released by Interscope Records to benefit the victims of the Pulse shooting last month.
The all-star release was conceived by hit songwriter Justin Tranter, who along with GLAAD and Interscope president of A&R Aaron Bay-Schuck put the word out that a fundraiser was in the works.
The artists all recorded their parts separately from their homes, local studios, touring locations, or wherever they happened to be at that moment.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Universal Orlando will continue its popular concert series this fall on select nights from November 14 through November 28.
The series kicks off with R&B artist Jason Derulo (“Want to Want Me,” “Talk Dirty”) on Saturday, November 14. The following Saturday, November 21, pop chanteuse Colbie Caillat (“Try,” “Bubbles”) will take the stage. Rapper Flo Rida (“Right Round,” “Good Feeling”) will appear on Sunday November 22.
