In addition to Harry Potter guests, attendees can also meet Alaina Huffman (“Supernatural”), Amber Benson (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), Nina Toussaint-White, and the “Glee” trio of Titus Makin Jr, Curt Mega, and Dominic Barnes. There will also be a preview of Diagon Alley, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion set to open at Universal Studios Florida in Spring 2014.

Though in the books and movies, the game is played by Potter and his schoolmates on flying broomsticks, in real life, players run with the brooms, instead. The IQA says it’s similar to rugby, but also has aspects of soccer, dodgeball, and basketball.
The exact location hasn’t been announced yet, but the dates are April 13 and 14.
If you want to get involved, but don’t play, the IQA is currently accepting applications for volunteers. There is a long list of open positions that you can apply for online.
In town as part of the huge Harry Potter event at Universal Orlando this weekend, several of the stars from the HP movies visited a local WalMart to promote the release of the last movie on DVD.
The event took place on November 11, 2011, to promote the first day on-sale release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 on DVD. The stars signed autographs at the WalMart on Turkey Lake Rd, just south of Universal Orlando, for the hundreds of Potter fans in attendance.
One of the most anticipated movies of the year is the upcoming release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1″ on November 19. Many movie theaters in town will be showing the film at 12:01 on Friday morning, to comply with the studio’s restriction on not showing the film before that day.
The Universal Cineplex is taking the midnight showings a bit farther, though.
Of course, being located at Universal Orlando, home to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you’d expect a little fanfare for the film.
But the Cineplex is planning to show the new film on all twenty screens for the 12:01 showing – including the IMAX theater. There will also be an additional IMAX showing at 3:15am.
On top of that, diehard HP fans can take part in a HP movie marathon starting at 6pm on Thursday, November 18. Guests can enjoy the adventures of the two most recent Harry Potter films – “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” – before the 12:01 a.m. showing of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.” Tickets are $20 and include admission to see all three Harry Potter films.
The showings are expected to sell out, so pick yours up at the box office in advance, or buy online at Fandango.
