The full Garden Rocks Concerts line-up has just been announced by Walt Disney World for the 2016 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
The expanded fest, now 90 days, runs from March 2 through May 30, and every weekend will feature free concerts by music legends from the 1960s through 1990s.
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is only a few weeks away, and Walt Disney World has announced the line-up of artists for the festival’s Garden Rocks Concert Series.
This year’s line-up has a variety of artists who were hitmakers in the 80s and 90s, and most have played Epcot before, but during the fall International Food and Wine Festival.
Here is the complete list of artists scheduled for the fest, which runs March 4 through May 17:
Every month, except November and December, the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando hosts a live concert called Velvet Sessions. It’s a 21 and over event that features classic rock and pop artists performing in an intimate club-like atmosphere.
This month, 90s hitmaker Gin Blossoms will take the stage on October 31, for a special Halloween edition, complete with costume party.
Gin Blossoms first burst onto the music scene in the early 90s with their hit album, New Miserable Experience. That release had many hits, including “Hey Jealousy,” “Allison Road,” and “Found Out About You.” Follow-up albums yielded more hits, and the band is currently working on a new release.
Tickets for this special Halloween version are $50 in advance online. This not only gets you in the door, but free specialty drinks, finger foods and warm-up tunes from 6:30 pm until show time. Complimentary valet parking is also included.
For $75, you can upgrade to VIP, which in addition to the above perks, gives you access to a special viewing area with a private bar, as well as all the benefits of the regular ticket.
After the show, a DJ plays tunes until 1am. Must be 21 or older for entry.
