Artegon Marketplace will be celebrating their first anniversary this week with the Anti-Ordinary Anniversary Week Spectacular, a line-up of free events that you won’t want to miss.

The festivities start Monday, November 16, with Sip. Stroll. Shop. From 6-9pm, guests can enjoy free samples from more than ten wine tasting stations scattered throughout the shopping center, while enjoying live jazz and Flamenco music. RHONJ star Melissa Gorga will also be on hand, meeting her fans. Be among the first 150 shoppers in line at the anniversary edition of the Wine Stroll and receive a commemorative Artegon-embossed stemless wine glass.

Free Florida Blue Concert Series Returns Starting Oct 15 for Fall at Dr Phillips Center

The free Florida Blue Concert Series returns for Fall 2015 at Dr Phillips Center starting on October 15.

The first Florida Blue Concert features the Orlando Concert Band, a 65-member wind ensemble, organized and operated as a not-for-profit Florida corporation. Founded in 1989, the band performs throughout Central Florida for concerts, ceremonies, and other special events. The October 15 event starts at 5pm, and features a mix of patriotic, film, and Broadway with some Latin pieces: Maeguena, Fantasia Espanol, Sol Y Sombra.

Enjoy Two Free Concerts Downtown This Weekend from Bell Biv Devoe and Rick Springfield

Downtown Orlando will be buzzing with the sounds of not one, but two outdoor concerts this weekend…and both of them are completely free.

First up on Saturday, June 11, 2011, radio station Star 94.5 will present the “Old School Block Party” featuring a concert by 80s hitmakers Bell Biv DeVoe.

The trio branched off from the hit vocal group New Edition, and went on to have several hits, including “Poison” and “Do Me.”

The event starts at 4pm, and will be hosted by Tom Joyner. Food and drink will be available for purchase. This event takes place in front of City Hall at 400 S. Orange Ave.

Then on Sunday, June 12, 2011, Rick Springfield will be rocking downtown as part of the Downtown Concert Series sponsored by radio station WMMO.

Springfield has had many hits in his lengthy career, including “Jessie’s Girl” and “I’ve Done Everything for You.” He’s also branched out into acting, with recent roles on “Californication” and “Hawaii 5-0,” and his best-selling memoir, “Late, Late at Night” just went into paperback.

The concert starts at 4pm in front of the brand new Amway Center.
