Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Lovers of horticulture and food will enjoy the 21st Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which returns March 5 – May 18, 2014, at Walt Disney World.

More than 100 topiaries, 220 floating mini-gardens, dozens of flower towers, and sweeping beds of multi-colored blooms will add floral splendor to the park landscape. Whimsical topiaries of Mickey Mouse and dozens of other Disney characters will decorate Epcot, from the entrance to the World Showcase.

New this year will be topiaries of Miss Piggy, and Kermit the Frog.

Walt Disney World Announces Flower Power Concert Line-Up for 2014 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

One of the highlights of the annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is the Flower Power Concert Series, and Walt Disney World has released the line-up for the 2014 edition.

In keeping with the “Flower Power” theme, the musical acts booked have had many hits during the 60s and/or 70s. Here are the artists that will be performing this year:

  • Village PeopleMarch 7-9: The Guess Who
  • March 14-16: Gary Lewis and The Playboys
  • March 21-23: The Orchestra starring former members of ELO
  • March 28-30: The Lovin’ Spoonful
  • April 4-6: Paul Revere & The Raiders
  • April 11-13: The Village People
  • April 18-20: The Grass Roots
  • April 25-27: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
  • May 2-4: Starship starring Mickey Thomas
  • May 9-11: Chubby Checker & The Wildcats
  • May 16-18: Alan Parsons Live Project

Flower Power Concert occur at America Gardens Theatre at 5:30, 6:45 and 8pm each Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and are included with park admission.
