Mountain Creek Candles – Orlando
This local business offers handmade candles, incense, aromatherapy sprays, solid perfumes, and more. The owner, Cindy, doesn’t have a regular shop, but you can find her wares at the Lake Nona Farmer’s Market at Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge on Saturdays, and at the Orlando Farmer’s Market at Lake Eola on Sundays.
You can also order her products online at mountaincreekcandles.com.

Ms. Bees Gourmet Popcorn and Candy Shoppe – Winter Garden
At this local business in the heart of historic downtown Winter Garden, you’ll find delicious fresh made popcorn in a variety of flavors ranging from savory to sweet. My favorites for savory are the Jalapeno Cheddar and Spicy Buffalo, and for sweet I recommend the Puppy Chow, Caramel, and Dr Pibb (which tastes just like cherry cola). You can also have your choice of flavored popcorn packaged in a College or NFL team-themed cannister, making a great gift for sports fans on your list. The store even carries some old time candy, which makes for nice stocking stuffers.
The store is located at 2 East Plant St in Winter Garden. You can also order online at msbeespopcorn.com.

East End Market, a neighborhood market and food hub in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando, will have their grand opening to the public on Friday, October 25, from 10am to 4pm.
The two-story structure is home to a dozen merchants, a large event space, a demonstration kitchen, an incubator kitchen, offices, retail shops, a full-time, award-winning caterer and a world-class restaurant.
Among the merchants are Fatto in Casa (Italian), Houndstooth Sauce Company, La Femme du Fromage (artisan cheese), Lineage Coffee Roasting, and Olde Hearth Bread Co.
Contiguous to the market hall is a farm-fresh restaurant called Txokos Basque Kitchen, a new culinary concept from the owners of Spanish River Grill in New Smyrna Beach. Txokos will source as many ingredients as possible from its East End Market neighbors and from the abundant and talented local farmers in Central Florida.
If you can’t make it Friday, weekend hours are 10am-7pm on Saturday, and 11am-6pm on Sunday.
East End Market is located at 3201 Corrine Dr. in Orlando. For more information, including a list of merchants, visit eastendmkt.com.
