Dumpstaphunk to Open for Jorma Kaukonen at Plaza Live on October 25, 2014

There’s just something right about the fusion of jazz and funk, and New Orleans-based Dumpstaphunk really does it right.

Born onstage at the city’s Jazz & Heritage Festival, the band is descended from Neville family bloodlines. Yes, those Nevilles. Ivan Neville on the Hammond B3 keyboard, and cousin Ian Neville on the guitar, join with the groove of dueling basslines from Tony Hall and Nick Daniels III.

On Saturday, October 25, Dumpstaphunk will bring their Big Easy sound to Orlando, opening for Jorma Kaukonen at Plaza Live. Tickets are $20 – $39.50 for this show, and are available online or at the box office. This event is 16 and over for admission.
