Duke Energy Florida has announced they will be building a solar power facility at Walt Disney World.
The facility will occupy about 20 acres near the intersection of World Drive and Epcot Center Drive.
Duke will lease the land for at least 15 years from Walt Disney World, which in turn will buy power from the solar output. It is not known what percentage of the resort’s power would come from the solar energy generated.
