Downtown Disney Offers West Side Valet Parking in Evenings through January 1, 2014

Parking is already at a premium at Downtown Disney due to the construction happening as part of the transformation into Disney Springs. It’s bound to get worse with the upcoming holiday season.

Downtown DisneyTo help alleviate the problem of finding a parking space, Walt Disney World is now offering valet parking to all guests at Downtown Disney West Side.

It is available from 4pm to 2am, in front of Cirque du Soleil, via Entrance 4. It is $15 per vehicle (plus gratuity). When ready to leave, check in at the valet booth or text a designated number for retrieval.

Tables in Wonderland members can receive complimentary valet parking with proof of a valid dining receipt. Passholders receive no discounts.

Valet service is scheduled to run until January 1, 2014. Self-parking at Downtown Disney will continue to be free.

Downtown Disney Revs Up for Car Masters Weekend at Walt Disney World June 14-16, 2013

Lightning McQueenRevving up for a third year, Cars Masters Weekend will take over Downtown Disney West Side at Walt Disney World June 14 through 16, 2013.

Featuring all things “Cars,” the event showcases more than 150 classic, muscle and exotic cars; a chance for guests to meet “Cars 2? stars Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile; and special appearances by automotive designer Chip Foose and Disney-Pixar “Cars” filmmaker Jay Ward.

There will also be a “Cars” and “Cars 2” marathon at the AMC Downtown Disney 24, along with themed food and beverage, live entertainment and more.

Admission to Cars Masters Weekend is free.
