DISENCHANTED!, the musical that won the Orlando International Fringe Festival’s 2011 Producer’s Award, makes its return to Orlando at The Abbey, September 19th-October 27th.
The show is a musical comedy about angry princesses desperate to wrestle their lives back from today’s pop culture. The original fairytale princesses are none too happy with the exploitation they’ve suffered in today’s films, books and dolls, so Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Hua Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and more, are “storming the castle” in order to take their lives back.
Tickets are $40 for general admission and $50 for VIP (includes up-front seating at a cabaret table and a glass of wine). Tickets are available online, or at the box office. The story is made for mature audiences (rated PG-13), and patrons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Valet parking is an additional $5.
The Abbey is located at 100 S. Eola, in downtown Orlando.
