Orange County Animal Services Holds Silver and Gold Adopt-a-Thon December 21, 2013

In an effort to match pets who’ve been waiting for good homes for a while, Orange County Animal Services is holding a Silver and Gold Adopt-a-Thon on Saturday, December 21.

Orange County Animal ServicesDogs and cats who have been in their care for a long period of time will have a silver or gold sticker on their kennel card. Adopters who choose an animal with one of these stickers will receive a special gift, in addition to the $12 special adoption fee for December.

There will also be food trucks, and the shelter will be open an extra 4 hours, from 10am to 7pm.

Orange County Animal Services Offers $12 Pet Adoptions for December in Orlando

Throughout the month of December, Orange County Animal Services is offering pet adoptions for only $12 per pet.

Orange County Animal ServicesThis cost includes spay/neutering, initial vaccinations, microchip identification, deworming, heartworm test (dogs) or FLV/FIV test (cats), rabies vaccination and a Adoption Welcome Kit.

And of course, a new member of the family.

More than 300 dogs and cats need homes, and there are a wide variety of ages, breeds, and personalities to choose from.

Orange County Animal Services is located at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando near the Mall at Millenia. The facility is open for adoptions Monday–Friday from 10am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
