The Jurassic Quest Drive Thru, the nation’s largest touring dinosaur exhibit, will set up camp at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) from January 29-31 and February 3-7, 2021.
Dinosaurs will be invading Leu Gardens once again, starting January 18, 2021, featuring over 20 life-size dinosaurs ranging in size from 14 inches to a massive 33 ft. The event will run through April 18, 2021.
The newest Disney•Pixar release, “The Good Dinosaur,” debuts in 3D nationwide on November 25th, so Disney Springs will host The Good Dinosaur Weekend November 21-22.
It will take place in the Marketplace area from 11am to 11pm and feature a live DJ and a Dinosaur Dance Party, photo ops for the whole family, and even giveaways.
Dinosaur fans…velociraptors have arrived at Jurassic Park in Universal’s Islands of Adventure and they’re wanting to meet you!
Jurassic World opens June 12, but you don’t have to wait until then to see a velociraptor up close. Universal Orlando has brought one of the critters to Islands of Adventure.
If your family has any budding paleontologists, you’ll want to mark your calendar for March 17, 2012. This is when Fossil Fest returns to the Orlando Science Center for its sixth year.
There will be presentations from fossil experts, bones on display and more. Peter L. Larson, founder and president of Black Hills Institute of Geological Research, Inc. located in South Dakota, will appear via Skype as he conducts a seminar on extinction theories for the K-T extinction – the one that killed the dinosaurs about 65 million years ago.

So grab up your youngin’s and bring them to the Orlando Science Center this Saturday, March 19, for the 5th Annual Fossil Fest.
See locally unearthed specimens from the Florida Fossil Hunters. Learn about the preservation methods used on the huge bones and teeth of various prehistoric wonders. Watch the giant screen spectacular, “Sea Monsters,” on the Dr. Phillips CineDome. Meet DEXTER the dinosaur from T-Rex at Downtown Disney. Make your own dino-crafts and play dinosaur-inspired games.
This one-day event is a celebration of dinosaurs, paleontology and everything that’s fantastic about fossils!
The event runs from 11am to 4pm. Admission to Fossil Fest is included in the Orlando Science Center general admission, which is $17 for adults and $12 for kids (ages 3-11). Parking is $5 additional per vehicle.
