The Southern-inspired, farm-fresh restaurant PB&G at Four Seasons Resort Orlando now has its own custom bourbon.

The Southern-inspired, farm-fresh restaurant PB&G at Four Seasons Resort Orlando now has its own custom bourbon.

In partnership with Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, this particular bourbon has been aged in a charred oak barrel since October 2004, and is made up of 60 percent corn, 35 percent rye, and a 5 percent malted barley base.

Out and About: Culver’s Opens in Clermont Bringing Butterburgers to Central Florida

Culver’s, with roots in Wisconsin, has opened its first Central Florida location in Clermont, and we went to check them out.

I have a bit of a personal connection to the restaurant chain. It was the summer before my senior year in high school, when the first Culver’s opened on July 18, 1984, in Sauk City, Wisconsin. I lived in Baraboo, a town a mere 15 minutes away, so of course I had to check it out – especially since I would pass by it every weekend on the way to Madison.

Culver’s first successful franchised restaurant opened in December 1990, less than a block away from the Baraboo High School. Figures, right? Well, since then, Culver’s has expanded to more than 500 restaurants in 22 states, including the newly opened location in Clermont.
