2014 Dragon Parade/Lunar New Year Festival takes place on February 9 in Orlando

Celebrate the Year of the Horse with the annual Dragon Parade in Orlando. This year, it takes place on Sunday, February 9.

Dragon Parade in OrlandoThis Lunar New Year Festival features dragon and lion dances, martial arts, Japanese Taiko, acrobatic performances, cultural dances, arts and crafts, Asian food, and more.

The parade begins at 11am at the intersection of Hillcrest St and Hampton Ave, and ends at approximately 4pm at the intersection of Hillcrest St and Mills Ave (at Colonial Photo & Hobby’s parking lot).

This event is free to attend, but I recommend getting there early as over 6,000 people attended the parade last year.
