Universal Launches Mardi Gras 2014 With Star-Studded Musical Lineup Starting February 8

Universal Orlando Resort Mardi Gras

Universal Orlando Resort comes alive this spring with its annual Mardi Gras celebration, featuring 20 nights of concerts from the biggest names in music, starting February 8, 2014.

On select nights through May 31, guests will experience a “N’awlins”-inspired, family-friendly version of Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Florida. There will be Cajun cuisine, authentic New Orleans bands, and an evening parade, all capped off with a concert by a headlining act. All rides will be operational, too.

Several dates are yet to be filled, but here is the current list of headliners:

Universal Orlando Announces 2013 Mardi Gras Headliner Entertainment Line-up

One of the most popular annual events at Universal Orlando‘s theme parks is their Mardi Gras celebration.

This year’s event runs on select nights from February 9 through April 20, 2013. In addition to the normal theme park attractions, guests will get to enjoy a nightly parade, authentic New Orleans musicians, Cajun cuisine and live concerts by high-profile artists.

UO just released the line-up for the 2013 headliners, and it includes a really good cross-section of music genres.
