The landmark Coca-Cola Orlando Eye will be closed starting today, January 30, for regular maintenance on the attraction.

Though most regular planned maintenance and engineering work takes place overnight after they have closed to the public each night, this annual closing allows them to perform larger projects to make sure the attraction is operating at peak efficiency and safety.

This week, more than 90 historic buildings and landmarks across the U.S. and Canada will be lit up to support Stand Up For Cancer.

In Central Florida, the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye will be lit red, orange and yellow on Thursday, September 8. Other Florida locations include the Fifth Third Center in Naples, CityPlace Fountain in West Palm Beach, and Miami Tower in Miami.

On Wednesday, July 28, The Orlando Eye revealed its new partnership with Coca-Cola by rebranding the attraction the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye.

Entering the building, guests will be greeted with a new look featuring Coca-Cola’s signature red and white colors. The gift shop also features co-branded souvenirs.
