Actor Patrick Dempsey Races and Places in Rolex 24

It’s a race of endurance, as the cars circle the track at the Daytona International Speedway. But when the cars crossed the finish line yesterday at the Rolex 24, Grey’s Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey and his team, Dempsey Racing, had two spots in the Top 10.

Dempsey’s #40 car crossed the line in third, while car #41 finished tenth.

Dempsey Racing were sponsored for this race by Visit Florida and Share a Little Sunshine so their double Top 10 finish is even more awesome.

So what do you do if you’ve run the New York City Marathon? If you’re Today Show’s Al Roker and Meredith Vieira, you come to Orlando to run in the 2011 Walt Disney World Half-Marathon.

The two got up in the early morning hours yesterday, and were joined by their co-worker, Today Show’s Natalie Morales, to run the annual 13.1-mile race.

Here the trio are pre-race with a few Disney characters to cheer them on.

Actor Daniel Dae Kim Visits with Lilo at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Currently co-starring in the hit CBS series “Hawaii Five-O,” actor Daniel Dae Kim managed to tear himself away from Hawaii long enough to bring his family to Walt Disney World.

While at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, he ran into a fellow Hawaiian by the name of Lilo. Thankfully Stitch wasn’t around to cause trouble.

Kim, who was born in South Korea, made a name for himself in hit TV shows like “Lost” and “Angel.”

Draco Malfoy Revisits the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Looking nothing like the blonde-haired Draco Malfoy he portrays in the Harry Potter films, actor Tom Felton visited with the Beauxbatons at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

According to Universal Orlando, after enjoying Butterbeer with his friends and visiting Hogwarts castle, Felton enjoyed the rides and attractions at both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.

Thankfully he didn’t cause as much mischief as Malfoy.

Celebrities Out and About Disney This Week

Walt Disney World shared with us a few of the celebrities that have been visiting the parks this week for the holidays.

First up is Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, along with his wife Danielle. The two pose Dec. 19, 2010 in front of Cinderella Castle with Cinderella and Prince Charming at the Magic Kingdom.Β  The couple wed a year ago on Dec. 19, 2009 at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York, and celebrated their first anniversary by staying a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite, which is located inside the Magic Kingdom castle itself. Guess it really pays to be in a Disney-friendly band, eh?

Next up is a kid actor who is familiar to the millions of fans who tune into ABC’s hit sitcom, “Modern Family.” Below is Nolan Gould posing with Stitch. I’ll leave it up to you to decide who is who.

Both photos were taken by Preston Mack of Walt Disney World.
