This year’s Casselberry Latin Jazz & Art Festival takes on an international flair on September 28th.
The Latin Jazz concert begins with International Saxophonist Ed Calle performing at 5pm. Lao Tizer, featuring Emmy winner and Grammy nominated guitarist Chieli Minucci, will bring a mix of jazz and world rhythms starting at 7pm.
Joining Tizer & Chieli at the Latin Jazz & Art Festival will be Cuban drum phenomenon and Grammy winner Raul Pineda, UK born bassist Rufus Philpot, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Nieves.
The festival, sponsored by 102.5 WLOQ Orlando’s Smooth Jazz and El Sentinel, takes place at Lake Concord Park (located at 95 Triplet Lake Drive) in Casselberry.
Admission and parking is free. Bring your own chairs or blankets for seating.
