Want to enjoy a good food & wine fest in Orlando without having to pay over $80 to get into a Disney park? Then mark your calendar for November 13-14, 2010, when Lake Eola will be the spot for the Orlando Food & Wine Fest.
Restaurants scheduled to serve include Bananas Diner, Capital Grille, Cityfish, CRAVE, Funky Monkey and Hue. More to be added as the date draws near.
There’s also a chef’s stage where you can watch cooking demonstrations from area chef’s. Appearing as a special guest this year will be Top Chef season seven contestant Kenny Gilbert, who will be onstage at 2pm on Sunday.
Live jazz bands will entertain each day. War headlines on Saturday. Fourplay and Marc Antoine appear on Sunday.
Entrance fee is $10 each day, or $15 for a weekend pass. Then each sample from the participating restaurants and wineries will cost between $2 and $6.
