Around Orlando – Audubon Park Utility Box

I love the way certain areas of town are hiring artists to paint the utility boxes. These are big improvement over the boring gray ones found at most street corners.

This utility box is decorated for the Audubon Park Garden District and I think it looks awesome.

What do you think? Do you like the effort that goes into these artistic utility boxes, or do you prefer the original gray?

Mugs Up for the Audubon Park Beer Festival 2010 in Orlando

What better a way to spend a Saturday afternoon than at a beer festival? Especially when it helps out a charity.

This Saturday, November 20, head on over to Audubon Park for their 1st Annual Beer Fest. The event takes place from 1pm to 6pm at the beer garden behind Big Daddy’s Roadhouse and O’Stromboli’s (3001 Corrine Dr, Orlando Fl.32803; corner of Corrine Drive and Winter Park Road).

In addition to unlimited beer sampling, the Audubon Park Beer Festival will feature food samples and live entertainment.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of the event. A donation of a canned food item for the Second Harvest food bank is also requested.
