Culinary Arts Menus Revealed for 2018 Epcot International Festival of Arts

Returning to Walt Disney World for a second year, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts will celebrate performing, visual and culinary arts from January 12 - February 19, 2018.

The 2nd annual Epcot International Festival of Arts celebrates all types of art, including culinary, and we have the menus for this year’s festival.

Not only are the dishes delicious, but they’re designed to be visually pleasing, as well.

Sunday, January 7, the Magic Kingdom was filled with crowds of black and gold as the undefeated UCF Knights football team was honored with a parade down Main Street U.S.A.

The parade also included UCF cheerleaders and The Marching Knights, the university’s official band.

Garden Rocks Concerts Announced for the 2018 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

The full Garden Rocks concerts line-up has just been announced by Walt Disney World for the 2018 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

The annual festival runs from February. 28 through May 28, and every weekend will feature free concerts by music legends from the 1960s through 1990s.

Of the 17 acts booked, seven are new to Garden Rocks, and three of those new to Epcot festivals: Foghat, Lonestar, and Don Felder former of The Eagles.

Walt Disney World Releases Details on the Disney Skyliner System Stations

At this summer’s D23 Expo, it was announced a new transportation system at Walt Disney World called the Disney Skyliner would be coming to the resort, and this week we learned more about it.

The gondola-style system will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot via stops at Disney’s Art of Animation, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach resorts, plus other locations yet to be announced.

Select Disney Skyliner cabins will feature Disney characters on their exterior design, including favorites from films, Disney attractions, and of course, the “Fab Five.”

Out and About: Christmas Bricktacular Returns to LEGOland Florida!

We were invited to attend LEGOland Florida Resort’s “Christmas Bricktacular” on its opening day, and we were excited to experience the event. Opening days are always a challenge as not everything is completely ready, and that was the case here. But that’s okay as the employees were fabulous in getting things done and making sure everyone had a great time.

In fact, the staff was great and very friendly all throughout the park. In Fun Town, they had the store fronts and trees around the carousel decorated for Christmas. It was truly lovely.
