Whataburger Returns to Orlando With a New Store Opening Aug. 6, 2026

Texas-based Whataburger has decided to return to the Orlando market with a new location grand opening on August 6th, 2026 in the Waterford Lakes area of east Orlando.

Tbe new location is at 12305 E. Colonial Drive, just past N. Alafaya Trail, and on opening day, the first 2 dine-in customers, and first 2 drive-thru customers will win free Whataburger for a year starting at 11am.

After the grand opening, the Orlando location will be open 24hrs a day, seven days a week for your cravings.

Whataburger previously entered the Orlando market in 2005, but by 2009, all locations were closed.

The menu consists of burgers, chicken, and breakfast options, along with sides, shakes, kids meals, and more. Find out more at Whataburger.com.
