Central Florida Zoo Celebrates Native American & Alaska Native heritage At ‘Sunset At The Zoo’ On August 28, 2026

“Sunset at the Zoo” returns to the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Sanford on August 28th with a celebration of Native American & Alaska Native heritage during an evening of family-friendly fun, diversity, inclusion and community.

Presented by Orlando Health, “Sunset at the Zoo” kicks off at 5pm and allows guests to enjoy the Zoo during the cooler hours of the day. Last admission into the Zoo is 7:30pm.

The evening will feature food trucks and unique dining options, cultural vendors and educational tables, hands-on activities for all ages, storytelling and cultural highlights, animal enrichment demonstrations, extra keeper chats, Barnyard Buddies, giraffe feedings and more.

Tickets are just $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person at the gate. Families can also purchase a $46 Family 4-Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, online only. For tickets and more information, visit CentralFloridaZoo.org.
