Central Florida Zoo Celebrates Black & African American Heritage At ‘Sunset At The Zoo’ On July 24, 2026

“Sunset at the Zoo” returns to the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Sanford on July 24th with a celebration of Black & African American Heritage during an evening of family-friendly fun, diversity, inclusion and community.

Presented by Orlando Health, “Sunset at the Zoo” kicks off at 5pm and allows guests to enjoy the Zoo during the cooler hours of the day. Last admission into the Zoo is 7:30pm.

Guests can explore the Zoo after hours while enjoying live music and cultural experiences, flavorful food trucks and treats, local vendors, artisans, community groups and interactive activities for all ages. The evening will also include Barnyard buddies and giraffe feedings.

Tickets are just $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person at the gate. Families can also purchase a $46 Family 4-Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, online only. For tickets and more information, visit CentralFloridaZoo.org.
