Central Florida Zoo Kicks Off Popular ‘Sunset at the Zoo’ on May 22, 2026

Central Florida Zoo Sunset at the Zoo

“Sunset at the Zoo,” presented by Orlando Health, returns to the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Sanford on May 22 with a vibrant kickoff celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage.

Experience a lively evening inspired by the cultures, traditions, and flavors of AAPI communities, all set against the backdrop of the Zoo.

Guests can enjoy delicious food trucks, sunset-only bites at Graze, local vendors and community tables, kid-friendly games, animal enrichment, extra Keeper Chats, plus Barnyard Buddies and giraffe feedings.

Tickets are just $6 per person when purchased online at CentralFloridaZoo.org or $8 per person at the gate. Entry starts at 5pm.

Families can also purchase a $46 Family 4-Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, online only.

The event is separate from day admission and is not included for Annual Passholders.
