Experience rich cultures and diverse musical traditions with the Timucua Arts Foundation World Music Festival during the month of May, with featured musical influences from Brazil, Spain, Israel, Haiti, India, and more.

Performances scheduled include:

John O’Leary’s Projeto Brailiero “Sem Fronteiras” Album Release Tour (Friday, May 1st @7:30pm): Paying homage to legends of the Bossa Nova and Samba movements, this fusion ensemble explores timeless compositions in an instrumental jazz quintet as they debut their new album “Sem Fronteiras.”

Mudita First EP Release Concert (Saturday, May 2nd @7:30pm): Bringing together five outstanding local singer-songwriters from the Mudita String Quartet and Mudita’s cross-cultural ensemble, these artists weave a rich tapestry of sound—melding contemporary songwriting with global influences, orchestral color, and improvisational spirit.

Flamencodanza (Friday, May 8th @7:30pm): An international Spanish duo featuring Aylin Bayaz and Gabriel Gonzalez, Flamencodanza combines dancing and guitar playing with the characteristic elegance, rhythm and artistry of flamenco.

Yotam Ishay (Saturday, May 9th @7:30pm): Grammy-nominated composer and pianist Yotam Ishay’s music moves fluidly between jazz, classical, and global traditions as he continues his exploration of melody with music shaped by impressionistic harmony, Mediterranean rhythm, and deep improvisational practice.

The CieL Experience (Friday, May 15th @7:30pm): The CieL Experience is a South Florida–based jazz fusion collective blending traditional jazz with R&B, funk, swing, and Haitian Konpa. Each performance offers audiences a vibrant, story-driven live music experience that’s both culturally rooted and forward-looking.

Morgan Joyce Hart (Saturday, May 16th @7:30pm): Morgan Joyce Hart is a Berklee graduate and award-winning indie folk-soul artist. Praised for emotional depth and personal storytelling, her music blends soulful vocals with acoustic guitar.

Liquid Reality, Indian-Jazz Fusion (Friday, May 29th @7:30pm): Anupam Shobhakar’s unique Indian classical performance features the double-neck guitar complemented by the tabla, creating a spellbinding tapestry of rhythm and melody that breathes life into every beat.

Mudita Union Concert (Sunday, May 31st @7:30pm): This cross-cultural collaborative concert will feature music from four distinct traditions – India, America, Persia, and Japan – as musicians work together to portray the transformative story of cultural union through this quasi-improv style performance.

Tickets vary in cost and are now available at Timucua.com.

All shows take place at The White House located at 2000 S Summerlin Ave in Orlando. There is free parking on Summerlin Ave. and at Wadeview Park. They request guests bring a bottle of wine or non-alcoholic beverage to share during the show.
