Broadway In Orlando Brings ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ To Dr. Phillips Center In Orlando April 23–28, 2024

2023-2024 Broadway in Orlando - Mrs Doubtfire

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts welcomes the hilarious “Mrs. Doubtfire” April 23–28, 2024, as part of the AdventHealth Broadway in Orlando 2023/2024 season.

Everyone’s favorite Scottish nanny is headed to Orlando in an internationally acclaimed new hit musical critics call “wonderful, heart-warming, and laugh-out-loud funny” (Manchester Evening News) and “a feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers” (The Hollywood Reporter).

Based on the beloved 1993 film, which in turn is based on the 1987 novel “Alias Madame Doubtfire” by Anne Fine, “Mrs. Doubtfire” tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids.

Two-time Tony® nominee Rob McClure (“Chaplin,” “Mrs. Doubtfire”) leads the national tour alongside co-star (and real wife!) Maggie Lakis (“Avenue Q,” “Something Rotten!”).

The musical is directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, with music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell.
