Smokemade Meats + Eats Will Soft Open Its Texas-Style BBQ Restaurant March 22, 2024

Smokemade Meats + Eats, which has been serving up Texas-Style BBQ at pop-up events the last three years, will be in soft opening on its new restaurant starting at 11am on Friday, March
22nd.

The new stand alone BBQ restaurant is located at 1400 S. Crystal Lake Dr, Orlando, FL 32806, in the Curry Ford West District. It will feature casual counter service with seating indoors and on a covered patio, as well as takeout, and whole meats to go as available.

The restaurant will be open Friday – Sunday, 11am until sell out during soft opening weekends. The schedule is subject to change and will be updated on social media at @smokemademeats.

They’re also accepting Easter weekend preorders for whole meats, select scratch-made sides, and desserts for pick up by 5pm on Saturday, March 30th. Preorders can be placed online at hotplate.com/smokemade.

Orlando-local owner / pitmaster Tyler Brunache and his pop-ups have been a favorite amongst local foodies and BBQ lovers, and was recently named Top 3 Best BBQ by readers of Orlando
Sentinel in the 2024 Foodie Awards, among other accolades.

“Our new brick and mortar location is a family affair! My parents own the building, and our family’s construction company, MIE, Inc, which has been serving the Orlando community for over 30 years, and now run by my sister, has done the build out. After starting Smokemade in Washington DC in 2019, it was a good time to come back home to be with family and start our pop ups here in 2021. Family and friends have been so supportive over these past three years and can’t wait to see the restaurant open,” said Brunache about his new restaurant.

The Grand Opening festivities and 3rd Anniversary Party are set for April, and we’ll bring you those dates when we get them.
