Smokemade Meats + Eats has announced it will be hosting BBQ classes for Central Florida foodies the weekend of March 9-10, 2024.

If you’ve ever had Smokemade Meats + Eats’ BBQ, you know pitmaster Tyler Brunache makes delicious Central Texas-style BBQ.

Now, you can learn his techniques at two classes.

The Brisket and Ribs Class will take place on Saturday, March 9th. Tyler and his Smokemade staff will cover fire management, trimming, seasoning, smoking, slicing, and finishing brisket and spare ribs. Along with breakfast, attendees will enjoy a full BBQ Lunch with beer, soda, and water. Plus, attendees will leave with food that is prepared in the class, plus a Smokemade Hat and T-Shirt. Cost is $450 per person.

Or take the Intro to BBQ class on Sunday, March 10th. This will be a day of exploring the basics of BBQ. In this introductory class, Tyler and the Smokemade staff will be instructing on and sharing the necessary basics of wood fired bbq, covering fire management, trimming, seasoning, and smoking. The course comes with a light breakfast of pastries and coffee, as well as leaving with food prepared in the class, plus a Smokemade Hat and T-Shirt. Cost is $150 per person.

Classes will be held at the near future home of Smokemade Meats + Eats brick & mortar location on S. Crystal Lake Dr, in the Curry Ford West District.
