CitySurfing Orlando’s Picks For Celebrating Halloween

Halloween falls on a Tuesday in 2023, but that doesn’t mean Orlando isn’t celebrating the holiday. There are plenty of events to enjoy leading up to October 31st in Central Florida.

From family-orientated scares to adults-only thrills, here are our picks for 2023 Halloween events happening in the area:

Chronic Tacos (Dr. Phillips)

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice (All locations)

ICON Park Halloween

Free admission and parking. Gather outdoors on The Lawn to be immersed in The Wheel’s popular annual light and fog show, as 64,000 LED lights dance 400 ft. in the air while fog drifts across the lawn at your feet. Shows will take place nightly at 8:30pm on Sun-Thurs, and at 8pm and 10pm on Fri and Sat. Plus from Oct 26 to 31 costumed kids get a FREE ride on the Carousel on the Promenade. Costumed kiddos will also get the whole family 50 percent off tickets for The Wheel. Offer is valid for all costumed kids ages 12 and under.

Scream-a-Geddon in Dade City

It’s a bit of a drive, but this horror attraction features six scare zones for the price of one. It’s highly rated among horror fans. Tickets start at $27.95 online, add $5 if buying at gate.

Trail of Terror in St. Cloud

From 8pm to 11pm at Peghorn Nature Park, enjoy this haunted trail for $10 per person.

Maitland: Eden Bar Halloween at The Enzian

Oct 28
Tickets are $30. From 9pm-1am. Enjoy a night of music, food, and drinks, before ending the celebration with our midnight feature – “The Beyond: The Composer’s Cut.” Age 21 and older to attend.

Orlando: Dracula the Musical at CityArts

Tickets are $35 General Admission, $45 for VIP seating. The lush melodies of Frank Wildhorn underscore Bram Stoker’s literary masterwork in Opera del Sol’s production of Dracula, the Musical. This production is not restricted to a stage, and attendees may come into close contact with a performer.

Orlando: Misfit Exchange and Movie Night at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company

Orlando: Studio du Chocolat – Halloween Edition at Caribe Royale Resort

Tickets are $125 per person. From 1-4pm. Executive Pastry Chef Joshua Cain, who was recently featured on Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship, and Chocolatier Maria Sanchez will guide guests as they create a variety of delectable treats and spooky chocolate sculptures, such as Frankenstein Cereal Treats, Boo Bons, Cake Eyeball Pops, and more. Each guest will bring home their chocolate creations plus samples of the unique chocolate blends created in France by Chef Joshua, and only available at Caribe Royale Orlando. Orlando: Vampirates at Pirate’s Adventure Dinner Show

Enjoy a family-friendly tale of vampirates (vampire pirates), along with dinner. Ticket prices for “Vampirates” are $72.95 for adults and $46.95 for children ages three to 10. Free. From 5-7pm. Downtown Winter Garden. Enjoy a spooktacular family night full of costumes, candy, shopping and fun! Participating Downtown WG shops will be passing out candy from 5-7 pm, while supplies last.

Winter Park: Halloween Bash at Winter Park Village

Bring your little pumpkins out to the annual Winter Park Village Halloween Bash! Participating merchants will be giving out candy to all trick-or-treaters.

Winter Park: Halloween Block Party at Park Avenue Tavern in Hannibal Square

Free event. From 5pm-9pm. Come dressed in costume (you, the kids, your four-legged BFFs!) and enjoy live music from Bloody Jug, food and drink tables with fun themed and seasonal treats for adults and kids, and a special dessert booth featuring Chef Leidy from The Wilson Cocktails & Seafood where kids can decorate their own cupcakes for the holiday! Play cornhole, ring toss and giant Jenga while enjoying the fall air,.
