Osceola Arts’ 2023-2024 Theater Season kicks off October 6, and with tickets now on sale, here’s what you need to know about the shows scheduled for this season.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

In 15th Century Paris, the world seems colorful and bright, but Quasimodo has been living alone in the shadows all his life. How will the world see him when finally steps into the light? Backed by a striking score and featuring popular songs from the Disney animated film, this musical tells a timeless story of love, acceptance, and finding the hero within.
Special shows: American Sign Language-interpreted performance on Saturday, October 21 at 2pm; Audio-Described performance on Friday October 20, at 7:30pm

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical
Select nights December 1-17, 2023
It’s everyone’s favorite time of year and the annual Christmas pageant! This year the town’s most mischievous kids, the Herdmans, all want starring roles…but not without a few script changes first. In this jolly and heart-warming musical, witness the spirit of Christmas truly come to life in their small town!

Guilty Pleasures: An Unapologetic Comedy
Select nights January 26-February 11, 2024
Married couple Larry and Jinx embark on a luxury cruise and meet an elegant celebrity couple. A seemingly superficial agreement soon leads to complications for the couple that may only be solved by infidelity. Seasoned sitcom writer Ken Levine (M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier) puts a modern twist on the classic screwball comedy for this play.

Select nights March 15-31, 2024
What could happen when a wide-eyed young chorus girl is given the chance of a lifetime? She becomes an overnight star! This classic musical take on a fairy tale is set on Broadway in 1930s New York and is filled with love, laughter and of course, dance! Not to mention some show-stoppin’ tunes sure to get your feet tappin’.

The Play that Goes Wrong
Select nights June 14-30, 2024
It’s opening night at Cornley University! The tickets are sold and the audience is seated but are the cast and crew ready for curtain? Get a peek behind the scenes as the performers do their very best to muddle through a calamity of errors and make it to the final bows in this hilarious play within a play.
