Each spring, UCF brings its best and brightest artists to Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for a large-scale celebration of creativity, and this year, “UCF Celebrates the Arts” will take place April 2-15, 2023.
“UCF Celebrates the Arts” showcases the school’s students, faculty and alumni through dance, concerts, cabaret, lectures and discussions, film, chamber music, an expanded visual arts presence, and more.
Highlights of the many performances and events scheduled include a concert by UCF’s chart-topping Flying Horse Big Band, a National Choir Festival concert, a WUCF Salute to Fred Rogers, a UCF Symphony Orchestra concert, and “Broadway’s Brightest Lights” featuring Tony-Award winning Broadway star Megan Hilty.
The lobbies and public area of the Dr. Phillips Center will also be utilized for art and exhibits to enjoy free of charge throughout the run of the festival.
The annual event is hosted by the UCF College of Arts and Humanities and features the faculty and students from the School of Performing Arts and the School of Visual Arts and Design, as well as work from the humanities departments and other units from around the university.
