The Dr. Phillip Center for the Performing Arts kicks off the FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando series for 2022 with “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations” January 25-30.
“Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations” is the Broadway hit musical that follows The Temptations’ extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Set to the beat of the group’s many hits, including “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,” “Get Ready,” and “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” the show tells the unforgettable story of the legendary quintet that Billboard Magazine named the greatest R&B group of all time.
The winner of the 2019 Tony Award for Best Choreography, it’s a thrilling story of brotherhood, family, loyalty, and betrayal during a decade of civil unrest in America.
TICKETS:
Tickets start at $49.75, and are available at DrPhillipsCenter.org, and the venue box office.
All guests 2 years of age and older attending Broadway shows, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, will be required to wear masks at all times when inside. Guests can briefly lower their masks only if they’re actively eating or drinking.
