Central Florida Zoo Hosts Brews Around the Zoo

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Garden in Sanford is bringing back its wildly popular beer tasting event Brews Around the Zoo the weekend of September 18-19, 2021.

It will feature beer samples from 16 breweries as well as live music. Admission is limited to those 21+, and a valid ID is required for entry.

The following breweries will be participating:

  • 3 Daughters Brewing Co.
  • Ancient City Brewing Co.
  • Blue Springs Brewing
  • Bold Rock Cider
  • Central 28 Beer
  • Cutwater Vodka
  • Elysian Brewing
  • Goose Island Beer Co.
  • Ivanhoe Park Brewing
  • Kona Brewing
  • Michelob Ultra Seltzer
  • Sanford Brewing Co.
  • SweetWater Brewing
  • Tampa Bay Brewing Co.
  • Wicked Weed
  • Wops Hops Brewing Co.

Beer stations will be spaced throughout the Zoo, which will be closed except to ticket holders, and food will be available for purchase at distanced stations.

General admission is from 5 to 9pm Saturday and from 11am to 3pm on Sunday.

General admission tickets (which are valid for one day and are not transferable) are $50. Tickets for one-hour early access on Saturday are $70.

Brews Around the Zoo will take place entirely outdoors in the open air, and is a rain or shine event.
