‘Disney After Hours BOO BASH’ Coming to Magic Kingdom this Fall .. @WaltDisneyWorld #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyHalloween #BooBash

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

Walt Disney World has announced a new Halloween-themed “Disney After Hours BOO BASH” event will be coming this fall to Magic Kingdom Park.

It will take place on select nights, August 10 to October 31, from 9pm to midnight or 9:30pm to 12:30am (depending on the date), and will be a separately ticketed event.

Disney After Hours BOO BASH” tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7pm without the need for a day park ticket though, so guests can enjoy the park for a few hours before BOO BASH starts.

Spooky festivities will include Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings throughout the park, special performances by the Cadaver Dans, décor, lighting, music, treat stops with plenty of candy and more.

The experience also offers low wait times at more than 20 attractions from classics like The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, to newer favorites like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Guests can dress in costume for the occasion, but costume masks are not permitted for adults. They can only be worn by children younger than 14.

Tickets will go on sale next month, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

No word on why Walt Disney World is holding this event instead of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, or how it differs (other than I note the description makes no mention of the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show).

More details as I get them.
