One highly anticipated attraction that is scheduled to at Walt Disney World in 2021 is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot, and we’ve been given a first look at the ride vehicles…
According to Walt Disney World Site Portfolio Executive Zach Riddley, the vehicles were inspired by markings that appear on NASA Space Shuttles and other spacecraft upon reentry into Earth’s atmosphere.
But if you’re a Marvel fan, or have seen the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, you’ll also recognize the color and patterns of the Nova Corp fighter ships:
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an upcoming roller coaster that is currently under construction at Epcot. At D23 Japan in 2018, it was confirmed that the ride would be one of the world’s longest enclosed roller coasters. It is located where Universe of Energy used to be.
Based on the Marvel Studios film Guardians of the Galaxy, this will be the first attraction at Walt Disney World to feature characters from the Marvel Universe.
Are you looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind? I definitely am!
