Universal Orlando Also Closes Face Covering Loophole for Guests .. #UniversalOrlando #ParkSafety

Universal Orlando face coverings

Yesterday I told you how Walt Disney World closed a loophole in park safety that allowed guests to walk around without a mandated face cover. Now it seems Universal Orlando has also closed that loophole.

All guests to Universal Orlando must now wear face coverings at all times while in the parks, resorts, and CityWalk.

The only exceptions are if the guest is actively eating or drinking, or if in one of the new designated U-Rest Areas, where guests may temporarily remove their masks.

So, no more walking around holding a drink or food item to get around having to wear a face covering.

Here is the rule straight from the Universal Orlando website:

Wearing a face covering while at Universal Orlando may not be the most comfortable with the heat, but it’s the best way to enjoy the parks safely.
