Tango Cares Needs Your Help to Feed Orlando's Unemployed Hospitality Workers

Last month I told you how Alexandria Restaurant Group (ARP), the parent company of Orlando’s Cafe Tu Tu Tango and Mia’s Italian Kitchen, was hosting twice-weekly free meal giveaways to hospitality workers that have been hit hard by the recent quarantine.

I even posted on our Instagram from the first week of meals, called Tango Cares, which was hosted out of Mia’s Italian Kitchen:

I’m happy to announce that they are still hosting the Tango Cares initiative, but they need your help to feed needy Orlando families.

The next three weeks of Tango Cares are completely booked up, which not only speaks to the need, but means that they’ll have served more than 2,000 individual meals to hospitality workers by the end of this week.

To sustain this effort, they have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help fund more meals for those in need.

Just a small donation can make a huge difference. A $10 donation feeds one hospitality worker, and a $35 donation makes one four-serving Family Meal.

If you can’t help financially, please give this post a share so others can see it. There are share buttons in several places on this post to make that super easy.

Thanks again to ARP for looking out for Orlando hospitality workers and their families in need, and thanks to everyone who donates and helps spread the word!
