Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will officially open its doors for guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios tomorrow, on Wednesday, March 4.

But tonight, March 3, #DisneyParksLIVE will live stream the attraction’s special dedication ceremony.

Starting at 7:20pm ET, you can watch all the festivities on the Disney Parks Blog.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway D23

Then tomorrow morning, at 9am ET, head over to D23.com for a special streamed event celebrating the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

It will start with a special episode of D23 Inside Disney, which will be on site at the attraction’s grand opening, talking with the Imagineers and creative minds to bring you inside this wild ride for a spin into Mickey’s cartoon universe.

Then, Walt Disney Imagineering will open up their doors for a special “From Sketch to Reality” program, in which Imagineers behind the ride, including Charita Carter and Kevin Rafferty, pull back the curtain during a fascinating chat that reveals some of the twists and turns of this new attraction.

For those not familiar with the attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway takes you inside a “Mickey Mouse” cartoon short, where anything can happen aboard a train ride through Runnamuck Park.

You’ll join Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and more on a family-friendly adventure featuring dazzling visual effects, a lovable theme song, and surprising twists and turns.

Fast passes have been instituted for this attraction, though they may be hard to come by for the first few weeks of it being open.
