Mad Cow Theatre presents 'Last Train to Nibroc'

Orlando’s Mad Cow Theatre has announced is offering free tickets to World War II veterans during its upcoming run of “Last Train to Nibroc.”

These special tickets are available for all regular performance dates, and are not valid on Preview or Pay-What-You-Will performances. Call Patron Services at 407.297.8788 to redeem this offer.

“Last Train to Nibroc” is set in December 1940, as an east-bound cross-country train carries the bodies of the great American writers Nathanael West and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also on board is May, who shares her seat with charming, young Raleigh.

Raleigh wants to be a writer; May wants to be a missionary and they discover they are from neighboring towns in Kentucky. In this boy-meets-girl romance, two young people navigate through the tough times of a country at war discovering what they have to give up to get what they really want.

A change in plans sets the course for a journey filled with emotional struggles, family differences, and ultimately – love.

“Last Train to Nibroc” runs February 12, 2020 to March 8, 2020, with performances on at 8pm Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and 3pm Sundays. Additional performances will take place Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 3pm and Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

Talkbacks take place after each Thursday and Sunday performance. Talkbacks are free to audience members, and the public may attend at no extra cost.

  • Preview Performances are February 12, 2020 and February 13, 2020.
  • Opening Night is February 14, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. The opening-night performance will be followed by Mad Cow’s traditional champagne reception in the lobby.
