Epcot films 2020

Among the renovations at Walt Disney’s World’s Epcot, comes word that three new film experiences are debuting in the park on January 17, 2020.

Here are the details, Disney Parks has released about the films:

The Land Pavilion will get “Awesome Planet,” a a 10-minute film that will showcase the Earth’s beauty and diversity using spectacular imagery, in-theater effects, and an original musical score from Academy Award-winning® composer Steven Price.

The Canada Pavilion will get an update of its long-running “O Canada!” film. “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” features new scenes, a new musical score by Canadian composer Andrew Lockington, and new narration by award-winning actors Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.

Finally the France Pavilion is getting a film that die-hard Disney fans have been waiting for. “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” is directed and produced by Don Hahn, producer of the animated and live-action “Beauty and the Beast” films, and invites guests to participate in a twist on a tale as old as time.

It features narration from Angela Lansbury, who fans will recognize as Mrs. Potts from the original animated film. The new sing-along will run in rotation with “Impressions de France,” which will also receive an upgrade to 4K projection.

January 17 is also the start of the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, so you have even more reason to visit the park.

Are you excited to see any of these films? Let us know in comments.
