Fourth of July Street Closures and Parking Info in Downtown Orlando

Lake Eola fireworks

The annual Fireworks at the Fountain in downtown Orlando draws heavy crowds each year, and to help manage the event, the city closes down certain roads around Lake Eola.

The following downtown Orlando road closures for July 4th, 2019, are:

  • Robinson Street from Rosalind Avenue to Summerlin Avenue (closed 7am – midnight)
  • Eola Drive from Robinson Street to Washington Street (closed 7am – midnight)
  • Central Boulevard from Rosalind Avenue to Eola Drive (closed 2pm – midnight)
  • Rosalind Avenue from South Street to Robinson Street (closed 2pm – midnight)

Handicap Parking for Fireworks at the Fountain:

Handicap parking is available on Rosalind Avenue between Jackson Street and Central Boulevard. To park, you will need to approach the road closure and show the police officer your handicapped designation for parking.

A list and interactive map of Downtown parking lots and garages can be found at orlando.gov.

Nearby garages to Lake Eola fill up fast, so downtown residents and those parking at garages other than the Administration Garage or Library Garage are encouraged to use the free LYMMO downtown buses. Visit golynx.com for maps of the routes.
