March is more than green beer, and if you love food, there are a lot of Central Florida foodie events to make you happy.

From food festivals and annual dinners to vegan eats and charity events, I’ve tried to find every single quality event happening this month. Even at the theme parks!

So grab a snack and take a look at all the foodie events happening in March 2019:

The COOP, Winter Park – Southern Feast Fridays
Cost: $18.99 adults/$9.49 kids

Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg – St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival
Cost: $5 general admission daily; $75 VIP daily
A variety of seafood entrees and vegetarian dishes will be available, along with a diversity of side dishes and desserts, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. While enjoying your meal, enjoy musical entertainment. VIP includes open bar.

Florida Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds, Plant City – Florida Strawberry Festival
Cost: $10 adults; $5 youth
The Florida Strawberry Festival is an 11-day community event celebrating the strawberry harvest of Eastern Hillsborough County. Each year, over 500,000 visitors enjoy the festival’s headline entertainment, youth livestock shows, rides, exhibits of commerce and, of course, its strawberry shortcake.

MARCH 2

Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales – Fermenting Condiments and Pickles
Cost: $30 members/$37 non-members
Explore various fermented condiments and traditional brined pickles in this hands-on workshop that will also cover topics from hot sauces to mustards. Each attendee will make and take home jar of pickles to enjoy. Ticket price includes general admission to the Gardens.

Epcot, Walt Disney World – Chefs Gala
Cost: $350 (Individual); $650 (Couples)
Heart of Florida United Way and host sponsor Walt Disney World invite you to the annual Chef’s Gala, a gastronomic adventure that offers unlimited sampling of signature dishes prepared by over 20 of the area’s award-winning chefs, each paired with a fine wine. The evening will also include live music and silent auction benefiting United Way programs.

The Grove Orlando – 9th Annual Taste of Windermere

Red Pig Brewery, Holly Hill – Grand Opening

Check out Holly Hill’s first craft brewery. They’ll have a full line-up of house-brewed beers &
will be tapping specialty one-off kegs throughout the day.

Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando – Appetite for the Arches
Cost: $200 advance; $250 advance w/early access; $275 day of
Central Florida’s top chefs from renowned restaurants and resorts will showcase their skills by creating high end dishes using McDonald’s ingredients. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. Self parking is available at Rosen Shingle Creek at a discounted rate of $9 per vehicle. Valet parking is available for $26 per vehicle.

Tim’s Wine Market, Sanford – Argentinian BBQ and Tasting

They wiWe’ll be grilling Chicken, Flank Steak and Chorizo, with classic sides like Empanadas, traditional salads and roasted vegetables. They’ll also be pairing great wines to go with the amazing food.
