33 & Melt, the popular Windermere stop for gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, craft beer and more is expanding with a second location in the heart of Downtown Avalon Park.

Located at 12001 Avalon Lake Drive, Ste. H, the new location will hold a grand opening on July 11 from 4-10pm.

Paddlefish will be hosting an interactive mixology course featuring drinks from the Prohibition Era on their rooftop deck on Saturday, July 21.

Guests will learn how to make the following:

  • South Side
  • French 75
  • Sazerac
  • Summer Blush (Paddlefish mixologist original)
  • Passion Le Poire (Paddlefish mixologist original)

Foxtail Coffee Co. continues to expand in Central Florida with the announcement of a new location that will open in the University of Central Florida Bookstore, which is operated by Barnes & Noble College.

This Foxtail Café will offer an assortment of food and beverages, including locally roasted coffee, its world famous Cold Brew, traditional beverages, and a full menu of fresh foods including vegan options and items from local partners.

The location is slated to open in August 2018.

The Habit Burger Grill is making it easy to eat healthy this summer with its new Fresh Berry and Toasted Almond Salad with Chicken. It features a seasoned chargrilled chicken breast atop a bed of hand-cut garden greens with fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries, topped with toasted almonds and feta cheese, all tossed in a house-made strawberry balsamic vinaigrette.

The limited time special is available now through August 21 at participating Habit Burger Grill locations for $7.95.

Krispy Kreme is bringing back its its fan-favorite Chocolate Glaze Doughnut on July 7 for World Chocolate Day. Guests who visit participating Krispy Kreme shops in Central Florida can also see the chocolate glaze waterfall as the doughnuts are prepared.

It looks like a Dr. Phillips restaurant is up for sale…but which one? Crowne Atlantic Business Brokers posted they have a Dr. Phillips eatery listed. They aren’t saying which one, but say the “Business is doing $2.7 Million in annual sales.” Any guesses?
