There are many ways to celebrate the Fourth of July here in Orlando and Central Florida, from theme park events to city-sponsored events, and everything in between.

Most of the events are on July 4 itself, but since the holiday falls on a Wednesday this year, this list goes from June 30 to July 5, in case you want to extend your holiday celebrations.

Here are our picks for where to celebrate 2018’s Fourth of July holiday, in the Central Florida area, from Atlantic Coast to Gulf Coast:

Orange City – Fireworks & Fun
Starts at 5pm. Enjoy a watermelon-eating contests, children’s games, bounce houses, rock wall, bungee jump, live band and entertainment, fireworks spectacular and much more. Admission is free.

Orlando – 2018 Liberty Weekend at Orlando International Airport
Starts at 8pm. Join the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Christopher Confessore, for a free patriotic concert at the Hyatt Regency Atrium at Orlando International Airport. Complimentary parking will be available in the garages. Parking will be validated at the concert event. Admission is free.

Poinciana – 2018 Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular
Starts at 6pm. Takes place at Vance Harmon Park Amphitheater and includes bounce houses, food trucks, vendors, balloon artists, and live entertainment provided by Nfusion. Admission is free.

Eustis – July 4th Hometown Celebration
Starts at noon with a free kids zone, live music from Eli Mosley, and more, and fireworks at night at Ferran Park on Bay St. Admission is free.

Lake Nona – Great American Block Party
Starts at 5pm. Held at Lake Nona Town Center, it includes a full kids’ zone, stilt walkers, Beer Garden, and live music from the Classic Airwaves. Enjoy complimentary Watermelon, Sno Cones, and Fresh Red, White & Blue Lemonade. The Pie Baking Contest is back with a special treat of Apple Pie a la mode to follow. They will end the night with Lake Nona’s first ever community fireworks spectacular. Admission is free.

Altamonte Springs – Red, Hot and Boom
Starts at 4pm. Hosted by WXXL, the event features live music from Max, Echosmith, Lauv, Jack & Jack, In Real Life, Logan Henderson, and Alyssa Raghu, plus fireworks after dark. Takes place at Cranes Roost Park (275 Cranes Roost Blvd) in Altamonte Springs. Admission is free. Insider Tip: this is a very popular event and people start arriving in the morning for a good spot.

Baldwin Park – 4th of July Fireworks
Starts at 6pm at New Broad St in Baldwin Park in Orlando. Admission is free.

DeLand – City of DeLand Firecracker Festival
Starts at 5pm. Includes live music from United States Naval Band and fireworks after dark at Earl Brown Park (751 S. Alabama Ave) in DeLand. Admission is free.

Lakeland – Red, White & Kaboom
Starts at 6pm. Includes live music at Lake Mirror along the Frances Langford Promenade with fireworks at 9pm.

Mount Dora – Freedom on the Waterfront
Starts at 5pm. Includes live music, fireworks, and more at Elizabeth Evans Park (100 S. Donnelly St) in Mount Dora. Admission is free.

Port Canaveral – Smoke on the Water & Fire in the Sky
Starts at 8pm with fireworks over the Harbor at The Cove at Port Canaveral. Admission is free

Walt Disney World – Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at Magic Kingdom
Starts at 9pm. Fireworks set to patriotic music. Included with admission to Magic Kingdom.

Auberndale – 4th of July Celebration
Starts at noon. Includes music, food, fireworks. Takes place at Lake Ariana Park (119 W. Park St) in Auburndale. Admission is free.

Avalon Park – 4th of July Celebration
Starts at 5pm. Includes apple pie bake-off, bounce park, bike parade, fireworks, and more at 13001 Founder’s Square Drive in Orlando. Admission is free.

Clearwater – Clearwater Celebrates America
Starts at 4pm. This free family celebration at Coachman Park will feature music, food, drinks, local vendors and family-friendly activities, topped with fireworks at 9pm.

Clermont – 4th of July Red, White & Boom
Starts at 6pm. Includes live music, fireworks, and food at Waterfront Park (330 Third St) in Clermont. Admission is free.

Cocoa Village – Smoke on the Water & Fire in the Sky
Starts at 5pm. Fireworks will be over the river at Riverfront Park (401 Riveredge Blvd) in Cocoa Village. Admission is free.

Daytona Beach – Star-Spangled Concert Series at The Bandshell
Starts at 7pm. Includes live music from The Alter Eagles (Eagles Tribute) and fireworks after dark, at the Daytona Beach Bandshell (70 Boardwalk) in Daytona Beach. Admission is free.

Groveland – 4th of July in Groveland
Starts at 4pm. Includes live music, fireworks, and more. Located at Lake Catherine Blueberries in Groveland. Admission is free.

Kissimmee – Monumental July 4th
Celebration Starts at 5pm. Celebrate with host Joey Fatone and live music from Doug E. Fresh, C+C Music Factory, and the Gerry Williams Band. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy with the KUA Kids Zone, craft and food vendors, and a fireworks grand finale. Takes place at Kissimmee Lakefront Park (201 Lakeview Dr) in Kissimmee. Admission is free.

Lake Wales – July 4th Celebration
Starts at 2pm. There will be games, ace painting, food, and much more on the Shores of Lake Wailes Park. The fireworks will begin at 9:30pm. Admission is free.

Leesburg – 4th of July Celebration
Starts at 6pm. Enjoy a baseball game, a concert, and fireworks at Venetian Gardens. Admission is free.

LEGOLAND Florida – Red, White, & Boom
Starts at 10am. Celebrate America’s independence with patriotic LEGOLAND activities such as LEGO builds, Americana apparel, a dance party and the biggest fireworks show of the year. Included with admission to LEGOLAND Florida.

Melbourne – Fourth of July Sky Diving and Fireworks
Starts at 8pm. The Air Sports Parachute Team will be joining the celebration again this year! Several UNCLE SAM skydivers carrying U.S. Flags will exit from the WWII “Tico Belle” C-47 provided by Valiant Air Command and land ON the Melbourne Causeway and in the Indian River Lagoon by Front St. Civic Center for spectators to enjoy prior to the fireworks display. Admission is free.

Mount Dora – 4th of July Parade
The parade will kick off at 10am on Donnelly Street in Mount Dora. Admission is free.

New Smyrna Beach – July 4 Celebration
Starts at 4pm. Includes live music from Cactus Jack and the Cadillacs, and fireworks after dark at Riverside Park (105 S. Riverside Dr) in New Smyrna Beach. Admission is free.

Orlando – Fireworks at the Fountain
Starts at 4pm. The official City of Orlando fireworks at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando, also features live entertainment. Admission is free. Insider Tip: This is a popular event so if you plan to go, go extra early.

Orlando – ICON Orlando Stars and Stripes 
Starts at 4pm. $44.44 adults/$34.44 kids gets unlimited rides on ICON Orlando, one free popcorn and beverage (21+ for alcohol), and watch the sky light up with a colorful display of our nation’s red, white and blue in a patriotic pyro and light show from a VIP Courtyard area.

Ormond Beach – Independence Day Celebration
Starts at 6pm. Entertainment will stretch from City Hall Plaza across the Granada Bridge to Rockefeller Gardens. The fireworks begin promptly at 9:30 p.m. on the Halifax River just south of the Granada Bridge. Admission is free.

Oviedo – City of Oviedo Independence Day Celebration
Starts at 5pm. Enjoy live entertainment by Hayfire and Diamond Dixie, food trucks, beer/wine, vendors, carnival rides and carnival games (pay to ride/play), unlimited inflatable games for the kiddos (wristbands $5 pre-purchase, $7 day of event), and a fireworks display at 9pm, weather permitting. Takes place at Oviedo Mall (1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd) in Oviedo. Admission is free.

Sanford – Star Spangled Sanford
Starts at 5pm. Includes food, entertainment, and fireworks after dark. Takes place at Fort Mellon Park (E. First St) in Sanford. Admission is free.

SeaWorld Orlando – Fourth of July Celebration
Starts at 8:45pm. The evening will include the all-new Touch the Sky and the nightly finale, Ignite Fireworks Spectacular. Following Ignite, will be a patriotic firework celebration honoring America’s birthday Included with admission to SeaWorld Orlando.

St. Cloud – July 4th Lakefront Celebration
Starts at noon. Includes food, fun, music, and fireworks at St Cloud Lakefront (Lakeshore Blvd) in St Cloud. Admission is free.

Tampa – Red White & Blue Fest
Starts at 5pm. Enjoy live music, food, and more at Cotanchobee Park. Admission is free with advance RSVP, or $5 per adult at the gate.

Tavares – An Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration
Starts at 3pm. The Main Street Parade starts at 5pm followed by Fireworks at 9pm. Enjoy live entertainment by Blonde Ambition, Soul Therapy, DJ Dance Party. There will also be kids rides and activities sponsored by the Tavares Chamber of Commerce and Jinkins Nissan, the Big Red Bus, Polar Pod Cooling Station, Library Craft Station and Storytelling, Ped Hydration Station, Military Donation Collection, the Van Cam Photo Booth, food trucks and more. Admission is free.

Walt Disney World – Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at Magic Kingdom
Starts at 9pm. Fireworks set to patriotic music. Included with admission to Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World – IllumiNations with Patriotic Finale at Epcot
Guests visiting Epcot can enjoy Voices of Liberty sings patriotic songs at 12:30pm, 1:45pm, and 3pm. Evening closes with special edition of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth with a patriotic finale. Included with admission to Epcot.

Winter Garden – Party in the Park
Starts at 6pm. Includes live music, fireworks, and more at Newton Park (29 W. Garden Ave) in Winter Garden. Admission is free.

Winter Park – 23rd Annual 4th of July Celebration
Starts at 9am. Includes live music and more. FREE hot dogs, watermelon and water will be available for all to enjoy, while supplies last, thanks to the generosity of our Electric Utility Department. The Charles Morse Museum and The Winter Park History Museum are both free until 4pm. Takes place at Central Park (251 Park Ave S.) in Winter Park. Admission is free.

Winter Springs – Celebration of Freedom
Starts at 5pm. Includes fireworks, kids games, the Winter Springs Got Talent competition, live music, and more. Takes place at Central Winds Park (1000 E. S.R. 434) in Winter Springs. Admission is free.
