Voodoo Doughnut is now officially open at Universal CityWalk at Universal Orlando and is the first Voodoo Doughnut on the east coast. Co-founders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon led the celebration, where – for the very first time live in person – they introduced the brand icon, the Baron of Voodoo Doughnut.

Guests at the new location can enjoy signature originals and one-of-a-kind creations such as the savory yet sweet Bacon Maple Bar, the doughnut with grape dust and lavender sprinkles called the Grape Ape, and the iconic Voodoo Doll doughnut, which is filled with raspberry jelly and topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake. For those who are interested in trying even more doughnuts, they can purchase a Coffin of Doughnuts which features a handmade wooden coffin filled with three dozen doughnuts.

Noodles & Co. is introducing “zoodles” to its menu. Now you can enjoy any recipe from Thai Green Curry with Shrimp to classic Wisconsin Mac & Cheese with fresh, hand-spiraled zucchini noodles instead of pasta. Or try the all-new Zucchini Romesco featuring zoodles topped with a chunky roasted red pepper sauce made with almonds, sundried tomato and garden vegetables. I still haven’t forgiven them for taking their Bangkok Curry off the menu, though.
