Hawkers Asian Street Fare will be opening its second Central Florida location at The Grove in Windermere on Wednesday, April 18 [update: New open date is Monday, April 23]. The restaurant features 4500-sq-ft, with 150 seats and a dog-friendly patio (above photo).
Hawkers also has new late night happy hours from Wednesday through Saturday starting at 10pm to close of business, along with extended operating hours from Wednesday through Thursday from 11am to 11pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 12:30am. This applies to both locations.

K Restaurant has kicked off a “Family Meal Mondays” promotion. Monday dinners are now made easy with Chef Ryan and Chef Michelle’s family meal dinners from 5pm-9pm. From Roasted Chicken to Spaghetti & Meatballs, check back weekly to see what’s on the menu. Reserve on OpenTable or by calling 407-872-2332.?The cost is $15 per person and requires a minimum of three guests.

Choulula Fine Pastries has opened a new location at 340 N. Park Ave in Winter Park, serving up French pastries, espresso, and gelato. It joins their other location on Hwy 436 in Winter Park.

Rock & Brews, owned by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, has joined forces with Kona Brewery for a Big Wave Surfboard Giveaway. Guests visiting Rock & Brews locations in Orlando and Oviedo during the month of April will receive a “text to win” code entering them to win one of four Kona surfboards. No purchase necessary. Guests must be 21 and over to win. The giveaway will run through April 30, 2018. Kona Brewery will be contacting winners directly after April 30, 2018.

Sus Hi Eatstation has two locations set to open this spring. Lake Nona is planned for April 28 in the Lake Nona Village, and Millenia Gardens will open in mid-May, near Millenia Mall.

According to Bungalower, Deeply Coffee is moving into the Aspire building at 111 N. Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando. Their coffee will be provided by Tampa-based King State coffee roasters, and they plan a Summer 2018 opening.

Also via Bungalower, Cafe Linger will open May 2018 in College Park, in the former home of NYPD Pizza. The coffee shop will feature beans via Coffee Roaster Alliance, and a menu of baked goods and small plates.
