DOMU is opening a new version of the flagship concept called Chibi Ramen in Waterford Lakes by the end of 2018. Chibi, which means “little” in Japanese, will still feature key items such as housemade noodles and broth but in a more economical and quick fashion. Atmosphere will be similar to a Japanese ramen shop.

Chibi will still offer a variety of ramen options including a tonkotsu, shio, shoyu, and miso. Plus, there will a few options for sides such as gyoza, edamame, chicken karaage, and bravas fries (a play on the fingerling bravas at DOMU).

Look for it to open next to Fresh Kitchen in Waterford Lakes Town Center.

This is in addition to the Tori Tori Pub opening in the Mills50 this summer.

A Taco Bell Cantina will open near UCF in the Plaza on University.

A Taco Bell Cantina will open near UCF in the Plaza on University. The Cantina differs from a normal Taco Bell in that it will serve alcohol, and due to the alcohol, will have no drive-thru. This upscale version of the brand will sell brews, wine, sangria and frozen drinks with an assortment of alcohol. No exact date has been announced on when the new location will open, but I’ll let you know as soon as I hear one. You can check out the flagship Vegas location at tacobell.com.
