Tijuana Flats to introduce new Mac & Queso items to their menu starting January 29.

Tijuana Flats to introduce new Mac & Queso items to their menu starting January 29. They feature a new take on traditional mac and cheese dishes by combining them with Tijuana Flats’ signature queso and Tex-Mex fare, and include:

  • Blackened Chicken Mac & Queso Grilled Tacos – Two soft flour or wheat tortillas, Mac & Queso, blackened chicken, pico de gallo and shredded cheese for $6.99.
  • Philly Cheesesteak Mac & Queso Burrito – Flour or wheat tortilla, shaved sirloin steak, Mac & Queso, grilled onions, peppers, and mozzarella cheese for $7.49
  • Mac & Queso Bangin’ Chicken® Bowl – Mac & Queso, Bangin’ Chicken®, grilled onions and peppers, diced tomatoes, and ranch dressing for $7.99.

Marlow's Tavern shrimp and grits

Marlow’s Tavern set to open its fifth Central Florida location at Oviedo on the Park in Oviedo on January 23, at the intersection of Mitchell Hammock Road and City Walk Lane. As with the other locations, this Marlow’s Tavern will offer upscale classic American tavern fare with a menu that is rotated seasonally, and the restaurant will offer covered patio seating outdoors in addition to the indoor seating. Brews ‘n’ Blues is set to open January 20 in St. Cloud, with a grand opening shindig. Enjoy live music from Picture Show, cold brews like First Magnitude Brewing Company’s Wakulla Hefeweizen, and New Holland Brewing Company’s Dragons Milk Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout. You’ll also be able to taste test the menu created by owners Brian and Jamie, and Disney-trained chef Stephen. The venue is located 1122 Pennsylvania Ave, St Cloud. Urbain 40 American Brasserie and Lounge in Dr Phillips is hosting a Complimentary Champagne Tasting on January 26, from 6-9pm. Cress Restaurant in DeLand is hosting a special Solidarity Sunday: Haiti, El Salvador, Africa dinner on March 25, showcasing a family-style meal inspired by the people, culture, and food from Haiti, El Salvador, and the continent of Africa. A portion of the proceeds will benefit an appropriate cause that aligns with the theme of the event, and it’s a BYOB event. Cost is $40 per person and a menu will be revealed soon. Tin and Taco has announced they will be opening an second location soon in the SODO neighborhood. They haven’t announced where or when it will open. Their original restaurant is located nearby in downtown Orlando.

According to The Daily City, Stasio’s Italian Deli and Market will open sometime in March/April 2018 at the corner of E. Robinson St and Bumby, in The Milk District. The space will primarily be a grab and go business with a deli counter and a grocery area. It will have limited seating.
