Broadway Performers Scheduled for 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Returning to Walt Disney World for a second year, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts will celebrate performing, visual and culinary arts from January 12 - February 19, 2018.

One of the highlights of the upcoming second annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts will be the weekend Disney on Broadway concert series, and we have the list of performers.

The 2018 lineup brings returning guest-favorite acts, as well as new entertainment straight from the Broadway stage.

Here is the list of scheduled performers:

Jan. 12-15 and 19-22: New this year, Kara Lindsay from the original Broadway production and film of Newsies will join returning performer Kevin Massey, star of the title role in Tarzan on Broadway, performing favorite tunes from Tarzan, Aladdin, Newsies and Frozen.

Jan. 26-29 and Feb. 2-5: Kissy Simmons from the Broadway production of The Lion King, and Alton Fitzgerald White, Broadway’s longest-running Mufasa from The Lion King, take the stage with songs from Tarzan, The Lion King, Aida, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid.

Feb. 9-12 and 16-19: Ashley Brown, known for her starring roles in Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast, and Josh Strickland, known for playing the title role in the original Broadway production of Tarzan, bring to life the songs of Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Mary Poppins, Newsies and Frozen.

The 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Arts brings the best of visual, culinary and performing arts seven days a week from Jan. 12 – Feb. 19 2018. Throughout the festival, enjoy the Disney on Broadway series Fridays through Mondays at America Gardens Theatre with shows at 5:30, 6:45 and 8pm.
